Global Head of Communications Planning, PUMA

After working for major media agencies and as Vice President of the European Lacrosse Federation, Hermann joined the International Marketing Team of PUMA in Boston as Global Head of Media five years ago.

In his new role as Global Head of Marketing Planning, Hermann is now also responsible for the Global Marketing Budget and leads many international marketing communications projects.

He has forged PUMA’s first global media partnerships and introduced the brand to new audiences through an improved social media strategy, laying the foundation for the repositioning of the brand to FOREVER FASTER, which serves as the guiding principle for the company expressed through all of its actions and decisions. PUMA’s objective is to be fast in reacting to new trends, fast in bringing new innovations to the market, fast in decision-making, and fast in solving problems for its partners.

Hermann has successfully revamped PUMA’s Global Marketing Budget system, defined a new Go-To-Market Process and established a Marketing KPI system which bridges gaps between Marketing & eCommerce. 


When he is not thinking in KPIs & ROIs, Hermann is sailing in Boston Harbor.
