Antblad, Rickard

Program Director Product Lifecycle Management- Global, BACARDI

Rickard Antblad is doing great things in place-based marketing with a global asset cloud and location-specific adaptations. His area of expertise is product lifecycle management (PLM), or the process of managing the entire lifecycle of a product from inception, through engineering, design and manufacture, to service, and ultimately to the disposal of the product. PLM integrates people, data, processes and business systems, while providing a product information backbone for companies, particularly in the extended enterprise world and the global space.
At Bacardi, he quickly established Program Catalyst to improve the full lifecycle of Bacardi products, from Idea to Enjoyment. It soon became a global strategic program with clear deliverables across all brands and functions to improve product innovation, design and marketing execution. Rickard was also instrumental in Program Catalyst’s integration in 2015 with a larger initiative to include material master data.  Now in his role as co-lead, the full transformation is nearly complete.
He has spent nearly 20 years in the industry with a specialized focus on Brand Identity/Packaging Processes and Digital Marketing, in a regional and global context. In his previous role as Packaging PLM Leader, Procter & Gamble, he successfully led business transformation to simplify the packaging and design processes-- from brand strategy and identity to the shelf for all P&G brands globally.

With a Master’s Degree in Industrial Engineering and Business Management from KTH Royal Institute of Technology in Stockholm, he brings a pragmatic approach to problem solving and application design with the rare ability to convert complex issues into simple and elegant marketing solutions.
